What you need to know:
- Many hardware stores accept batteries for recycling for no fee. Find statewide battery drop-off locations at the Call2Recycle locator.
- You can bring your batteries to the CSWD locations for no fee if you have:
- 1 gallon or less of household batteries
- 5 or fewer lead-acid batteries–automotive, boat, motorcycle, and from motorized toys and UPS units. Intact UPS units count as ewaste.
