Meet Our Board of Commissioners

Burlington

Lee Perry

Commissioner since 2019

Lee grew up in Burlington, graduated from Burlington High school in 1988 and was employed by a local construction company until joining the City of Burlington Public Works (BPW) Street Maintenance Division in 2007. He became Streets Maintenance Manager in 2014 and Assistant Director of Maintenance overseeing the Street Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, and Recycling Divisions in 2019. Lee feels his experience in the construction industry and managing the City of Burlington’s recycling division helps him bring insight and perspective unique to these fields and wants to pass on the knowledge gained from observing the successes, shortfalls, and trends of Burlington’s recycling program. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys being in the outdoors in all seasons along with camping with family and attending his son’s basketball games.
